Areas of expertise:
-          Implementation of state policy in energy security;
-          Nuclear energy, nuclear safety and security;
-          Fuel and energy world system.

Dmytro Chumak is the expert in the field of energy security, nuclear energy, nuclear safety and nonproliferation of nuclear weapons.
He has an extensive experience in analytical research on nuclear issues, in particular on international cooperation in nuclear energy, the fight against nuclear terrorism, nonproliferation of nuclear weapons, nuclear security and information security. Dmytro held an internship at the UN (Vienna, Republic of Austria) in the field related to the study of the problems of energy security, critical infrastructure protection and nonproliferation of nuclear weapons. He repeatedly presented his research at conferences of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Now, strengthen of Ukraine's energy security by increasing the efficiency of public policies, study key issues and trends of the energy sector of Ukraine and the world, strengthen nuclear security in armed conflicts are among the Dmytro’s priorities.

Dmytro Chumak is also the assistant-consultant of the People's Deputy of Ukraine.
